| Become a Teacher. Nashville Teaching Fellows Be instrumental in Nashville schools. Teach. Nashville Teaching Fellows is calling on outstanding individuals to become teachers in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. Nashville Teaching Fellows is focused on recruiting leaders who will have a lasting effect on student achievement. Toward this end, we are seeking outstanding and diverse candidates with a relentless drive to make a difference, a dedication to setting only the highest expectations for themselves and their students, and an ability to thrive on overcoming challenges. After intensive preparation over the summer, Nashville Teaching Fellows will begin teaching full-time in the fall of 2009 while pursuing their permanent teacher certification. We welcome professionals from all fields, as well as recent college graduates. No previous education coursework or experience is necessary. A Bachelor’s degree is required.
